Neighborhood is the only managed care plan in Rhode Island to offer an assisted living benefit to eligible members enrolled in UNITY/Rhody Health Options and Neighborhood INTEGRITY (Medicare-Medicaid Plan).
We have enacted this important benefit because assisted living facilities provide valuable services for individuals who do not or cannot live alone in the community. Neighborhood will cover a member’s personal care, homemaker, chore, attendant care, companion services and even medication administration while they are a resident of such a facility. Members are responsible for room and board as part of their eligibility for LTSS (Long Term Services & Supports) through the State Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
