I got a letter about my Neighborhood ID card. What happened?
Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island has changed our member account system. Because of this, we are sending each member a new ID card with a new member ID number. Check your mail! ID cards should be received before June 30.
Have my benefits changed?
No. Your plan benefits are the same and have not changed.
What should I do with my old ID card?
Once you receive your new ID card, you can cut up your old ID card and throw it away. DO NOT throw away your old ID card until you have received your new one.
When should I use my new ID card?
You should use your new ID card every time you go to your primary care provider (PCP), a specialist, and the pharmacy. Your old ID card will still work until the end of 2024, but it’s important your PCP and others have your new ID number as soon as possible.
What if I have more questions?
If you have questions or problems with your new ID number or ID card, please contact Neighborhood Member Services at:
