Rhode Islanders,
As we come together as a community, I want to assure you that the employees at Neighborhood are also working together on behalf of our members, our provider network, and each other. We have been positioning Neighborhood to be able to continue to serve our members and providers during this critical time.
We are partnering with the Governor’s Office, the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH), the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS), and the Office of the Health Insurance Commissioner (OHIC) to manage the spread of the coronavirus in our state and ensure our members continue to have access to cost effective, high quality health care services during this difficult time.
Neighborhood’s staff is predominately working from home in order to protect the health of the community. Our teams are managing all key business functions without disruption, and we are supporting all of the requests of our state agencies to ensure members are receiving the benefits they need should they seek treatment related to COVID-19 as well as any other medical or behavioral health conditions.
Our call center representatives are ready to address any questions. Please do not hesitate to reach out – whether you have a plan with Neighborhood, you need coverage, or you are a provider in our network. All of our phone numbers are available on our contact page.
Neighborhood, in partnership with our community health center partners throughout the state, secures access to health care for Rhode Island’s at-risk populations, and for individuals, families and small businesses through our plans on HealthSource RI. This mission drives our teams, particularly during these difficult times, and, as always, we are here to assist you in any way we can.
Lastly, Neighborhood extends its gratitude to our health care workers who are on the front lines of this public health crisis. We are proud to support you in caring for Rhode Islanders and thank you for your dedication.
