ASTHMA PROGRAM 
The goal of the Neighborhood Asthma Program is to help members with asthma live normal, healthy lives, confident that they can manage asthma.

• Asthma – You Can Do Something About It – find out what asthma is, what medicines you need, and how you can work with your doctor to control it
• Your Asthma Checklist – what do you need to do to manage asthma?
• Neighborhood Asthma Specialists – do you need to find a special doctor for asthma?
• Neighborhood Asthma Services – what is covered by Neighborhood for asthma?
• Asthma Education – where can I go to learn more about asthma? (link to document A5  )
• Asthma Action Plan – help control your asthma – or your child’s asthma – with the Asthma Action Plan! Take this tool to your next doctor visit.
• Smoking Cessation Resources - smoking can worsen asthma symptoms. Members who have asthma, or whose children have asthma, are encouraged to use one of these programs to help them stop smoking.
